Italy, Spain, France: Foreign influence operations amidst the COVID-19 crisis

Please join Friends of Europe, in partnership with the Atlantic Council’s Digital Forensic Research Lab (DFRLab), for a virtual event focused on disinformation campaigns surrounding COVID-19 in Europe.

The COVID-19 crisis has exacerbated the vulnerabilities and internal divergence of the European Union, while foreign actors like Moscow and Beijing are exploiting the crisis to expand their influence in Europe, including through disinformation campaigns and propaganda. Experts from Italy, Spain, and France will join us to discuss the impact of foreign information operations targeting each country and explore recommendations on how to tackle them.
