EUObserver: Sweden taking Turkey 'seriously' on Nato demands

Jamie Shea, Senior Fellow for Peace, Security & Defence at Friends of Europe was interviewed by EUObserver on why Turkey continues to cause problems for Sweden and Finland’s accession to NATO.

“Erdoğan knows that he cannot stop the [Nato enlargement] process indefinitely,” said Shea, “whatever the rhetoric from Ankara, and so my sense is that he will declare victory after a few symbolic extraditions and lift his objections.”
