The Prime Minister of Hungary states that he will not support the start of negotiations on Ukraine’s accession to the European Union. Viktor Orbán also addressed an extraordinary letter to the President of the European Council and demanded that this issue be completely removed from the agenda of the European Council meeting scheduled for December 14-15.

We spoke to Paul Taylor, senior researcher at the independent research center “Friends of Europe” in Brussels, about the EU enlargement process and Hungary’s position.
