In Memoriam: Maria Vlachou

The Friends of Europe and European Young Leaders family has lost one of our own, Maria Vlachou.

Maria was a brilliant and visionary Greek entrepreneur, and a member of one of the first classes of European Young Leaders. Her optimism and dynamism were truly remarkable, and her charming personality lit up any room she was in. Her passion inspired everyone who met her. She was truly one of a kind.

We are broken hearted. To her family, friends and loved ones, we mourn with you the loss of this exceptional young woman who was taken from this world, and us all, far too soon.

She will live forever in our hearts and memories.
