About

DEO, Debating Europe and FOF Copenhagen & North Zealand invite participants in Copenhagen to dive into Europe’s economic future during Denmark’s EU Presidency. Join us to explore how the EU can guarantee jobs, welfare and growth moving forward. Through expert presentations by Christian Bennike and DEO specialists, and active audience participation, we’ll examine whether the EU is falling behind in global competition or still has what it takes to lead. Your insights will be gathered and shared with Danish Members of the European Parliament.

This event is part of the project “Voices for Choices“, which engages 18–35-year-olds across five EU countries to rethink Europe’s social contract. The project focuses on sustainability, economy, security and democracy. In Denmark, 440 citizens will take part through surveys, focus groups and citizen-led events. Friends of Europe manages the project and reporting, while DEO leads Danish activities. The project runs through 2025, with findings published in April and events held later in the year.

To ensure the findings receive the visibility and follow-up they deserve, we’re organising a series of local events in the five target countries bringing together citizens, policymakers and experts in interactive in-person discussions to unpack the issues identified in the report and propose potential solutions.

This event will take place at Kulturhuset Indre By, Charlotte Ammundsens Plads 3, 1359 Copenhagen K. Follow us on X, LinkedIn or Instagram and join the #Voices4Choices conversation!
