About

Join us for a day dedicated to amplifying the voices of young people at the “Together with the new generations” national conference. The event will open with institutional greetings, followed by a youth-led discussion and expert panel featuring voices from civil society, policy and youth advocacy.

In the afternoon, the “Voice for Choices” workshop invites young participants to reflect on key topics shaping the future of Europe: sustainability, economy, safety and democracy. Through collaborative sessions and open dialogue, participants will explore challenges and hopes for Europe’s future – and share their vision for a more inclusive, sustainable and secure society.

In our latest study “Voices for Choices” published in April, Debating Europe – Friends of Europe’s citizen engagement unit – dived deep into the experiences and expectations of young people aged 18 to 35 in Denmark, France, Germany, Italy and Poland — over 2,000 of them — revealing what they want from the future, and from those in power. What emerges is a generation that’s ready to lead.

To ensure the findings receive the visibility and follow-up they deserve, we’re organising a series of local events in the five target countries bringing together citizens, policymakers and experts in interactive in-person discussions to unpack the issues identified in the report and propose potential solutions.

Follow us on Twitter, LinkedIn or Instagram and join the #Voices4Choices conversation!
