The Planning and Evaluation Manager will be pivotal in ensuring planning coherence and meticulous execution at every turn, providing day-to-day coordination for our core programme team. You'll spearhead our impact assessment efforts, coordinating technical reporting and internal monitoring processes to capture our achievements effectively as we use the Renewed Social Contract as the overarching narrative of our work through 2030. Experience of working with Salesforce (or other CRMs) is a plus!
This is a fixed term contract (maternity cover), starting asap until mid January.
What will I be doing?
- Work planning: Ensure a coherent annual schedule of activity is in place and that the work programme is planned sufficiently in advance and is implemented effectively to maximise impact and deadlines.
- Planning coherence and team coordination: Ensure planning coherence and diligence in programme delivery, monitoring and evaluation. Provide day-to-day coordination for a core programme team
- Impact assessment: Implement monitoring and evaluation strategy; coordinate the required technical reporting and ensure internal monitoring processes capture impact, audiences and achievements. Build capacity and exercise quality assurance for a systematic approach to results-based monitoring and evaluation across the Programmes.
- Knowledge management: Effectively disseminate knowledge related to the programme implementation, evidence of impact and for funder reporting requirements and business development.
- Internal Communication: Assume responsibility for the internal communication including effective knowledge sharing and capacity-building across the teams.
- Quality assurance: Ensure that standards of excellence are maintained, providing high quality technical assistance and creating forums for effective knowledge sharing and building communities of practice.
- Internal organisation: Proactively address matters which relate to ensuring and developing an effective team-based organisation focused on achieving high quality results and a culture of support; continuous development, accountability, integrity, promoting equalities. Support recruitment and onboarding of team members.
What skills and experience do I need to have?
Education, experience & knowledge
- At least three years of experience in a similar role and environment
- Excellent writing, editing and communication skills and ability to make complex topics accessible and relevant to different audiences
- Experience coordinating cross-team efforts, planning and initiatives
- Experience with partnerships and understanding of translating organisational work to meet partner needs
- Experience working with a CRM (specifically Salesforce) desirable
- Interest and/ or experience in tracking impact of activities and in monitoring and evaluation
- Fluency in written and spoken English, other languages an asset
