Friends of Europe is excited to announce the fifth edition of its online security brainstorm.
Debating Security Plus brings together thousands of participants from around the world. The 2017 event will feature senior international figures from the military, government and international organisations as well as civil society voices, from NGOs, business, think-tanks, media and academia, and citizens.
This 48-hour brainstorm takes a holistic approach to security, bridging the gap between experts and citizens and developing concrete recommendations to global security challenges.
This year, the international security community will debate for 48 hours on a range of issues relating to six themes, each one moderated by senior experts.
The themes cover a variety of topics, including but not limited to global terrorism, nuclear threats, cyber defence, mass migration, asymmetric warfare and security realignment.
