On Monday 31 March, Friends of Europe, in partnership with the UK's Department for International Development (DFID), presented a Policy Spotlight lunch debate with Gareth Thomas MP, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at DFID.

Gareth Thomas MP presented DFID's EU Institutional Strategy Paper entitled 'Working with the European Union: Europe for Development' setting out key priorities for enhancing Europe's role in global development until 2010.
