An innovative healthcare agenda for Europe

14/11/2010 The European Commission acknowledges that healthcare is a critical issue as an ageing population has to contend with reduced budgets affecting every aspect of their lives.

The Commission believes that more can be achieved with the same funding. Policymakers in individual countries and within the European institutions are urged to seek out and analyse the best examples of innovative healthcare from around the world and focus their efforts on replicating these.
