Friends of Europe organised an informal brainstorming meeting on Asia-Europe relations on February 24 to launch its new Asia Programme.  The aim was to spur debate in Europe on Asia and to help develop a new EU strategic vision for the region.  Mr. Viorel Isticioaia-Budura, the European External Action Service’s Managing Director for Asia took part in the discussion.
