“We have to put the pressure on the car industry to improve. There is no choice now but to achieve results.”
Jos Delbeke

This was an informal brainstorming dinner for invitees ofFriends of Europe.
No surprises, perhaps at this latest 'Press and Policy-makers Dinner Debate' devoted to greater transport efficiency. 'More needs to be done, without endangering the transport industry,' appears to be the conclusion.
Sharing views and opinions were among others Rune Landin Director Transport Policy, Volvo Group; Dorette Corbey MEP Member of the Committee on Environment, Public Health and Food Safety, European Parliament
and Patrick ten Brink Senior Fellow and Head of Brussels Office, Institute for European Environmental Policy (IEEP).
