A half-day conference organised jointly by Friends of Europe and Real Instituto Elcano de Estudios Internacionales y Estratégicos on the occasion of the achievement of the Spanish Presidency.

This prestigious event was held in La Maison de l’Europe at la Bibliothèque Solvay close to the European Parliament, and started with a VIP lunch. Three short and interactive sessions during the course of the afternoon touched upon the main aspects of the Spanish Presidency. In each, two or three speakers offered brief introductory remarks, followed by questions and comments from the floor. The event rounded off with a Networking Cocktail to which all participants were cordially invited.

The event brought together participants from companies, the European Institutions, national governments, academics and the press.
